About Me
I've lived rent-free in micro/odd living spaces since 2012 and have been writing about downsizing since moving into my office, voluntary simplicity from the perspective of a young professional. My writing has appeared in Salon, Yahoo! Finance, Business Insider, L.A. Weekly, MSN, and The Good Men Project. My work focuses largely on humanizing small-space lifestyle choices for the general public, emphasizing the oft-confused distinction between involuntary poverty and an emerging “home-free” lifestyle of intentional simplicity. I have also discussed the topic at length in interviews for CBS, Fusion TV, WGN Radio, Business Punk Magazine, The Penny Pincher, and W Radio’s La W. Additionally, Terry is in the advanced stages of both memoir and screen manifestations of his experience.
