Because I just listed to miss Baker's presentation on Advocacy and wish to leave a comment. Her talk was very useful, but the Skype technology used caused a lot of distortion and dropped speech that made her talk somewhat disjointed.
What is your connection to the tiny house world?
I intend to build a tiny house in the next year and I'm interested in helping to facilitate acceptance of tiny houses as viable full-time homes.
I am a retired senior wanting to reduce my footprint, live minimally, close to nature, and clean up my debt. Depend on social security and cannot support a traditional house or afford an apartment or condo.

Congratulations on your retiremen! Are you going to continue to live in the White Mountains with your tiny house? I hope you set up a blog or something as you progress. I'm a Senior too and live in NH but am still working. I too cannot afford housing and am just renting a room for the next year. When my divorce is finalized I hope to have enough to set aside for my five year tiny plan...I'd be interested in knowing how yours works out.Are you a DIY or are you going to have a builder.
