Tiny Living in an RV in WINTER

Picked the wrong year to go tiny as we are having the most snow in 20 years this winter. Lucia, my Husky, is loving it!

Hi Carmen,

It was tough for a while there. I put Styrofoam panels in the roof vents, shrink wrap on the windows and used an electric oil filled heater. this was fine until it got colder than -8 C here in BC. Then the propane furnace would come on to make up the difference in the heat loss. Until the furnace stopped working then I used another portable heater. Oh and the winds did not help either with speeds of up to 80 km/h. Best part of being here is a few days of warmer weather or rain and all the snow is gone again!

Here is a photo from yesterday after I used a two pallets for steps. Nice and solid. Lucia was supervising.
