Your Name and Title: Tessa Baker

Organization Name: Co-founder of LATCH Collective; Coordinator of Tiny Advocacy Network of LA; National Coordinator of American Tiny House Association

Area of the World from Which You Will Present: Los Angeles, CA

Language in Which You Will Present: English

Target Audience(s): All those wanting to increase their options for legally living tiny in their communities.

Short Session Description (one line): Increase your options for legally living tiny in your community - build up a network of local tiny house advocates!

Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Are your options for living tiny looking less than ideal? Would you like to see a lower minimum square footage requirement for permanent dwellings, tiny houses on wheels allowed as backyard homes, or perhaps tiny house pocket developments in your municipality? In this workshop, I'll explain how collaboration can be key to making positive change, and offer insight into building up a network of tiny house advocates and getting connected to key players. Every municipality is different, and I'm sure I won't have the perfect solution for your community, but that is where YOU come in. I hope to inspire you by sharing what we've done here in Los Angeles to build a network of advocates dedicated to increasing options for legally living tiny.
